AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SOUTH MISSISSIPPI CHAPTER OF THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds to the South Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, out of any available funds, in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), during the 1999 calendar year.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
